Huh? You need a 1g mount of your using a 6bolt! And what bolts are you having problems with? Why won't they go in? And what is a motor mount going to do to clean up the engine bay?

I have the ugly 1g motor mount on the driverside and the motor i have has a 7 bolt head and the 2 bolts on the side through the timing cover dont line up and i was wanting to know if i can ditch the 1g mount and put the 2g mount without having to modify anything

And it would clean up the bay because i could eliminate the bracket that sits behind where the powersteering pump would be i know people cut it off but being i cant get the 2 bolts on side in im reliying only on the 2 front bolts where the power steering pump is

Sorry its hard to explain in words

You need the 1g mount but you can modify it and cut the extra little j out and eliminate the bolts by the power steering pump. That would be the best way to get it cleaned up like a 2g mount, I've seen plenty others that 6bolt swap do this. And the bolts don't line up because your motor is probably hanging without that mount bolted on. I suggest jacking up engine alittle and it should help the bolts line up! Are they oem mounts or prothane?

No original moint not poly

But the bolts wont line up the holes are back like .5 inch on the head and its been like this since i droped the motor in i tryed with hoist on it and jack under it and it wont line up even though all the other mounts the bolt slid right in so i know its all sitting in there right
