So before i started ripping it apart to take the tranny out, i took it for a little drive..Noticed the oil pressure gauge wasn't moving ..
When i bought the car the timing belt was just done as well as the water pump..
The valve cover is totally shot leaking like crazy (will be replacing it)
Now should i hook a oil gauge up then go from there...Or is there another way to check if its working or not?

I'd check the wiring to the sending unit. It's right in the front of the motor under the alternator/ power steering pump area. Quite possibe it was disconnected or broken while the T-belt was done.

LOL funny you say that ...when i was starting to pull the drivers side , cv joint i seen a broken wire ,..Under the alt ROFL
