Hey all. I did a quick search but didn't find much info on the particular differences between the different evo 8 connecting rods. I bought 3 piston pin and rod assemblies from one seller on ebay. And another assembly from a different seller. They are all from an EVO 8 as indicated by the "63TE8" on all 4 pistons, however I noticed different casting marks on the 1 assembly bought seperatley from the other 3.
Three of the rods say "V E" on the rod and "N 6" on the caps. The other rod says "V A" on the rod and "B 6" on the cap. The notch on this connecting rod is slightly shorter than the other three. You can see what I mean in the pics.
My question here is. Will it be okay to use these four rods in my engine if I ensure they're all in balance with eachother? Are there any differences in stength between these rods?
