okay i have some questions about bleeding my clutch and brake fluids. I just went and got some valvoline synthetic better then dot 4 brake fluid for ABS or something like that, a big ole thing of it. 5 bucks autozone. Ive got a couple questions. number one-does brake fluid double for clutch fluid? number 2-is it bad to mix brake/clutch fluid, like if i mixed that valvoline i got with w/e is already in there? or do i need to drain it all the way first?

I can't speak for 2G's, but 1G's call for DOT 3. Best check your manual to be sure.

Yes, one and the same.

You shouldn't mix the different "DOT" fluids.

okay, thanks. using a dot 4 or something wouldnt hurt it would it if it calls for dot3? thats just means at least use dot 3 right? I guess since i have no idea what kinda fluid is already in there i need to drain it first then bleed it, how exactly do i drain it? just pump it and let it come out of the bleeder valves till it stops coming out?? or is there a better way to do it?

No, DOT 4 is different then DOT 3 so you shouldn't mix it. Yes, it matters the order that you bleed the brakes. I believe it is back right, front left, back left, front right for the bleeding order.

okay, so what i really need to know now is how do i get all the old clutch and brake fluid out so i can put the new stuff in, i dont know whats in there so i guess i have to drain it all before i put that new stuff in. if i just stick a bucket under the bleeder valves will it all come out of there or do i need to do it another way? does anyone know for sure if thats the right order?"back right, front left, back left, front right for the bleeding order."

okay i just got that bottle of brake fluid and it says it exceeds dot3 and dot4, it dosnt say its d0t3 or dot4 on the bottle anywhere i just says it can be used as a replacment for both and its better then both, it also says its compatible with conventional brake fluids, so with all that in mind does it mean i dont need to completely drain my brake/clutch fluid already in there before i ad it?........still need answers to my last post, hehe.......

You have the right order on the brake bleeding with ABS.

DOT 3 and 4 are mixable, according to the Prestone DOT 4 bottle here. DOT 5, silicone brake fluid, is NOT mixable, although it is supposed to be "compatible in DOT 3 & 4 systems."

I'd take back whatever you have and go with straight DOT 4.

The clutch system isn't as fussy as the brake system is.
