Ok, so I know there is 500 threads about clutch bleeding but I can't seem to find what im looking for. I have bled brakes a bunch of times before with no problems but I must be doing something wrong. I rebuilt my clutch master cylinder today (it was leaking inside the car) and after bench bleeding it I reinstalled it. I had a decent clutch pedal but was a little bit spongy so I decided to bleed it.
I had the other person in the car push the pedal down then I cracked the bleeder then closed. Had the other person let up and it was stuck to the floor so they pulled it up and we repeated this process with no luck (fluid was coming out but still had to grab the pedal each time but clutch pedal got more spongy than before.
So I decided to try to purge the slave cylinder (the wrong way I found out) I pushed in on the clutch fork then had the other person push in the clutch pedal then I cracked the bleeder. Well come to find out I was supposed to push the fork, crack the bleeder, then have them push the clutch pedal in. Now I have no pedal whatsoever and cant get any fluid out even just trying to gravity bleed.
Any suggestions?
