In theory the Dual Pass will be better at cooling.

Its all about surface area, if you increase the amount of surface the coolant makes contact with and elongate its path, it will do a better job at transferring heat. You increase the time the coolant take to travel through the heat sink (radiator) to allow for maximum dissipation

If you are switch to auto, then you are going to need a way to cool your auto trans fluid. If you are doing the swap might as well get a air cooler for the auto trans fluid. STM makes a nice kit. the thread size is: 12mm X 1.25mm. If you are not using a external cooler, then you will need a different radiator that support auto trans nipples and passage sin the core.

What I would focus on are quality fans. If you review the threads on here about radiator fans, mishimoto does not do a very good job. Most people run SPAL fans here. I know a couple of people even run a single 12 SPAL fan rated at 1300+ cfms on the radiator pusher style and its enough. I personally run the FAL dual dan shroud set up, its nice with the stock turbo, but if you are going bigger, think about pushers or slims.

I was planning to use the factory trans cooler in the driver side for the oil cooler and B&M for the passenger side for the trans.

Anyone ever use a Mishimoto Dual-Pass?
