misfiring?

my friend whos in school for mechanics said my car might be misfiring but didn;t know for sure, how can i know? all the threads i found were on the turbo engines im n/a, there is no CEL though

misfiring is caused by not getting enough spark. Replacing spark plugs/ wires usually fix the problem (also check to see if they are fully in or not, sometimes the easiest things make a big difference)
