I recently did a 7 bolt swap, ever since then I've been having a misfire issue happening around 2k-3k rpms and getting the most noticeable misfire at about 2.5k. The car feels laggy through the whole range though, and I had a buddy tell me I'm burning a little rich on acceleration and I can hear the richness in deceleration. Also, it runs like it has a major boost leak on cold mornings; however the system is air tight after BLT and this clears up after warmup.
I've changed the coils, plugs, transistor, tested injectors, never had two consistent plug readings (however the base of the plug is always rich). So I went ahead and ran a log in evoscan to see what the ecu is thinking. Be gentle as I'm an excel graph n00b.
I am a tuning novice, however I think two things are happening:
1: I'm going into closed loop (with high feedback) right at around 2600 rpm, I'm then in closed loop the remainder of the pull.
2: Once I'm in closed loop, I don't come out until about 3500 on deceleration, at which time I get that negative curve. It then goes back into closed loop at 3100.
I could be completely wrong, just a weird issue that has come up since I swapped engines. I spliced my CAS into the 95/96 intake pulley CAS from the stock 97 location it was in. I also have to mention I'm throwing a CEL on the rear O2 that hasn't been addressed.
