Switching to E98!!!

Im just wondering if anyone has thought about getting rising rate fuel management units like this one:
http://www.cartech.net/fmu2020.htm

this would allow you to stay with small injectors for good idle, and let some HUGE crazy fuel pump take care of the rest up top. Thats what I would do if I ever went ethanol or methanol
,... A HELL of a lot easier than adding a second fuel rail with another set of injectors. The only problem I see is tuning might get interesting with anything other than aem ems or other map sensor reliant engine management systems, since boost drastically effects fuel delivery and cruising and light acceleration would be effected on an airflow based tune.

Huh. That's almost what I'm paying at the pump for premium. :sosad:

and yeah, that IS what Im paying for premium at the pump, and I get piss water 91 octane POS california premium, not 93 or 94 like some of you other guys.

I won't risk running dual 255's for anything over 600whp on E85 and especially not E98.

Magnafuel 500 will get you there with plenty of room to grow and if you run a -12 feed you can probably gain back some injector DC with that huge system and minimal backpressure over stock lines and even -8 lines.

Problem now is you are putting well over $1k into your fuel system while if you ran Meth injection on 100 octane you would probably be around the same performance with less hassle and possible tuning issues.

Well so far E98 seems to tune very close to C16 and works very well with meth inj also. On our 712whp evo was on E85 and the meth inj. Does suck though to have to run 2 sets of inj or some kinda inj setup to break the 600whp mark.

Also saying 92oct is the same price as E98 is dumb since its like race gas and not pump gas. C16 is over $10 per gal so getting the same power capability at 3.50 a gal is a steal. Also the E98 form me is 3.30 gal buy he drum and hope to have it down to under $3 per gal soon.

Also the stuff seems to make a good 5% more power on the same tune over gas.

I know Jake on here started having bad luck on the E98/Racemix when it was was more like a E70mix and lower.
