i have a 7 bolt head with a 1g CAS. I grounded timing to 5° through Evoscan and used a timing light set to 5° And adjusted the CAS til the marks lined up perfect when it flashed. I took the car for a drive and now its misfiring. It ran great last week, pulled it apart for a new timing belt (yes my timing marks are good) and set the CAS and now it has a misfire.

Has brand new br7es and it didn't help

When setting the base timing with the pin grounded I think should you leave the advance on the light at zero.
The advance dial is for determining total timing.
