Minor Prob after MAF-T Install

hey guys i have a minor problem and yes i have searched the forum. i installed my new MAFT with the Dejon MAFT piping. I have my AUX and Base set to where they are supposed to be and didnt touch the WOT setting. I have stock 450cc injectors, EVO 3 16g, stock intake mani, and an open dump o2 hosuing. Now my problem is when i floor it in 2nd and at 16lbs my wastegate opens and it feels like its pre detonating in the cylinders, it pops and back fires and doesnt get out of its own way, same in 3rd gear, but under normal driving conditions it runs find, is it from fuel cut? or is it something with the tuning? i have DSMLink and the A/F Ratio is 13:1 under idle and 10:1 under acceleration. I have a set of EVO 550s but i dont have a pump, would it be ok to run them on a stock pump? And if someone could tell me how to tune it for WOT i would really appreciate it!

Fuel cut will feel like you hit a brick wall. You'll know it.

Have you done a boost leak test recently? Checked your spark plugs/gaps and wires?

And if you could post up a log, that'd be great.

Fuel cut feels like your transmission just fell off the car. You'll think you just blew up the car when you hit it.

Last time I had break up like you're describing, my plugs gaps had opened up to over .040"
Check those.

checked the plugs and wires and they are fine

Lean it out until you see at least a 10.1:1 afr on the wideband. 10:1 is the richest they usually show so you could be running 8:1 and not know it. It sounds like your runing really rich.

A/F at idle should be 14.7. I tune to about 11:1 WOT. Have you tried a boost leak test yet? What are your fuel trims? It seems like they're maxed out.

I just noticed you're the one I bought that exhaust off of last summer. I get good comments on it all the time.

I second Wes' suggestion on the meet in August.

But post a log. That way we can figure out if it's something with the tune.

alright yea ill be out in Exton in the month of August so that wont be a problme at all , wheres it at and does it cost anything?, and for the logs ill have to try since my lap top doesnt have internet accesss so i guess ill have to save it on a disc and upload it to my computer
