I just bought a 1999 Eclipse GS-T that was completely bone stock. I just ordered a few parts and thought I would run it by some of you to see what you think. First off I dont want to get to crazy so here are the parts. HID kit both high and low beam, short shifter and new round shift knob, Greddy hard pipe kit with BOV flange, and Greddy type RS BOV I WILL STILL RECIRC!!! Ive also ordered a short ram air intake kit. Yesterday i cut off the stock muffler and welded up an HKS and thats about it, any ideas or anything im doing wrong? advice would be appreciated, cause im SONEW to this.

hmmm no clue on that one there bud. try greddy's website there is probably a manual on there you can look at. they usually tell you where all the lines run

are you planning on ordering it? or do you already have it?

Boost gauge reading about 15psi on everything stock besides i have no muffler does that sound about right? Also if I cut out my cat and resonator and replaced with a test pipe would that throw a check engine light? If so could I clear the code and would it stay off?

If you remove your cat you will get a CEL, which you will be able to turn off, but it will come back.

This ^^

However, it would be better to just buy a DP with a cat delete and a cat back. Then you could just remove your rear o2 sensor and put a wideband there! Thats what I did. Your going to want to get a wideband anyway if you plan to further mod the car.

I only put hids in low beams and projectors aren't needed they look good and they don't cast that bad into on coming lanes

Thats good to know I have HID'S too but havent installed them yet. I've read on some other threads that it's better to get projectors but I honestly don't want projectors so Im staying with my stock headlights!:thumb: - Ryann :talon:

Had quite a scare tonight, I got a flange from djeon and installed a greddy bov in place of the factory bov (which I think was leaking). My boost gauge reads about 15-16 psi on ALL STOCK besides i dont have a muffler, just a tip. Anyways I got on it hit full boost went to shift and BOOM! Adriana (my car :) LOL) died, at first I thought major issue, then it started but I had to keep the RPM's at about 3,000. I checked under the hood and the upper intercooler pipe had popped off right after the bov, the band clamp was loose as hell. But thanks God that it wasnt anything major, everything is back to normal and my AEM wideband kit is inbound from AEM =).

Alright tonight I got my Short Ram and K&N filter...AMAZING!!! The intake SCREAMS and the BOV is so much louder (not really what i was going for) but jeeze its awesome definitely worth the $$
