So I decided to get rid of my 1g cruise control throttle cable. I didn't want to spend 50 bucks, so to make a long story short I cut and bent a mini cable out of my old stuff.:thumb:

So it works fine? Did you have to actually modify the stock cruise cable at all besides bending it?

Could we get a better picture of what's holding in place, birds eye view... etc?

Works fine, your seeing all of it in those 2 pics. After the 2 bolt bracket it goes into the throttle body. I cut it way down and had to cut the end off. The second pic shows my new brass barrel end on the cable.
