mid 12 sec upgrades?

Alright, so I am new to modifying these cars, ive done basic shit like timing belt/water pump installs - and recently removed the head from a 1G. My question and my problem follow:

THIS IS FOR MY 2G AWD

have 1800 for mods, need $2200..
I am looking for suggestions and anything I have left out that is needed -

I do not have boost control yet. here are some Misc things I do have -installed-
3-gauge a-pillar w/ boost/vac,EGT,A/F ratio
turbo timer hks type-1
B&M short shifter :thumb:
Pocketlogger
Stock clutch

This is what I need to purchase :
FUEL -
SAFCII - ebay - $290ish
AFPR - fuelinjectorclinic - $140
AFPR install kit - clinic- $115
Injectors 650cc -clinic- $288 shipped
I have a walbro 255lph

Turbo --
evoIII big16 -buschur- $560ish shipped
BOV ebay? - $160ish
SS oil feed lne -anywhere $60
I already have a j-pipe

Exhaust piping/etc jcwhitney.com --
couple U-bends 3" SS estimate: 150
-----
o2 dump - punishment - $125 shipped
muffler -somewhere- $100ish I want a 3" in (2) 2.5 outs

Intercooler/pipes
I have the large streetimports core -
misc 2.25" piping -estimated: $100ish


TOTAL -------------------$2088
I don't think their is anyway to cut any costs here, I will have access to a welder to do my own welding. Anyone notice anything I left out? Or are these mods the way I should/need to go, thanks for lookin!
 
You could port that O2 housing rather than get the dump. That would save you 125

eidt: oh and a 1G BOV would cut about $100

edit... again: *whips out bull horn* YOU WILL NEED A CLUTCH TO HOLD THAT POWER... thank you.

And thank you for pointing out the 1G bov thing. I have one of those (came off of the car I just removed the head from) Didn't even think about that! (Also where I got the J-pipe from :D

Yea I know I will need a clutch but im gonna use up the stock one first :cool:
I also have a 3" SS downpipe cat eliminator with a true 2.6" inlet

So thats -$170 !

get a act 2600 if you decide to upgrade the clutch - it is amazing... trust me I have it in my 95 awd tsi right now it's definetly worth every cent...so is the big 16g turbo -
my suggestion to you is yes you can cut costs - look on boards and on dsmtrader.com - you will find what you are looking for quickly and alot cheaper than retail prices you listed above :thumb:
 
if you want to get around mid 12s , tires are singlehandidly the best suspension upgrade - count on getting those - that could be as much as .5 secs off your e/t you never know...plus you should look into some weight reduction/suspension upgrades as well...the tires I would say you will definetly need...

BlackBirdofprey: Stock clutch - unless the previous owners replaced it - car has 94K on it.

Czech09: Act 2600 - the crank walk clutch?? I do have a spare six bolt but It needs a rebuild, and I dont have that kinda cash rightr now :p

Czech09: I forgot to mention it, but the car also has a set of true 1-piece coil-overs on it with a 1.75" drop and camber kit all around, as well as nitto nt450 tires on 17" rims
