Yea I know another one of those mod list threads. Ive got a 91 gsx thats getting ready to be heavily modified in the next year or so. So far all I have done is a fuel pump rewire, drop in K&N filter, a few free mods, and a boost gauge. I just wanted so feed back on my set up. Im trying to not have to buy parts and have to replace them in another year so for something better. Im only looking for a decent 12 sec daily driver. maybe around 350-400hp.

1. Joe P. mbc
2. Dejon 3'' (cat-back, dp, and hi-flow cat)
3. evo O2 sensor housing
4. either a SBR cast exhaust mani or evo GT mani (depends if i want an extrenal wastegate or not on the exhaust mani)
5. full fuel systme upgrade, new feul pump, dsm link or apexi afc, injectors
6. SBR fmic (street core with GM MAFT set up)
7. new turbo evo 16g or a 20g

Ive got a palm Vx, my mom took from work :cool: With either of the exhaust manifolds I order both are pre-tapped for an exhaust temp prob so ill probally end up with getting one of them soon after. I was wondering though on what injector size would be good for my set up and should I just get a larger turbo. I think the 16g will suit my needs being that it will spool quickly. Any advice?

Looks good, just make sure you TUNE TUNE TUNE!!!!! If you want 350-400whp go with the 20g or 50trim for they are much easier to get 350+ on pump gas. Ive seen 2.3 motors with cams and an evo and still not get 350 on pump with out injection or any help.
 
I have a 90 talon With a 16g I havn't put it on the dyno yet but I did take it to the track I ran a 13.3 with 650 cc injectors and fmic new fuel pump 2g mass and a act2600 clutch I didnt run it very lean at all or push it very hard i probably could have tuned another 20 or 30 horse out of it and pushed it a little harder and made it to the twelves (oh by the way i am runing 21 psi). this is my daily driver and i so far have had no problems with it. hopfully this will give you an idea.

thanks for the input, I forgot to mention that ill need to replace my clutch. with a 20g or 50 trim what kinda modifications will i need to make? and would it better to run an extrenal wastegate at this level?
 
If you go with the 20G then I'd suggest going with the TDO6 housing. If your looking for a consistant 12 sec car on pump and 11's on race gas I would look at some of the nice 50trims around. But it all depends on how much you want to spend.
