Miami DSM Meet Thread

People should finish fixing their cars and come to the next meet.

Yeah, we're going to need a much bigger count if we're to get a official DSM day at County Line Dragway.

The manager roughly expects over 60+ cars so that we may have a full dedicated day for us. So for next month, we'd want to try and get every possible DSM we can so we can have good proof to show to him that there are actually quite a bit of DSM's in Miami to make a shootout at the track.

Not just for the future event. But can you imagine more then 30+ DSM's at next months meet? Thats a lot of DSM's. Cruising with numbers that big would be hella fun.

What I'll be doing is printing out flyer meets for the 26th of April and put it on every random DSM I see parked or any DSM owner. The more DSMs we can get out there, the better. I know a lot of people could have showed to the last meet, but rain was a problem, and we STILL had a awesome turn out.

So lets make this one even better.

DUDE are you serious??? 60 dsm at one meet?? think about what ## saying?..... you never gonna get dat many dsm at one meet not unless its a well known national event.. what he expects if you do what to hold a meet like that to have over 60 cars not 60 dsm's... just clearing that up a little.....

Btw, I have a 13G Turbo thats just laying around if you wanna buy it . Was gonna turbo charge my Lincoln jus for the hell of it with it.

if you make flyers shoot some my way and i can put them on some cars up in my area... i see a couple at the gym every now and then and some at my school

I leave tomorrow for VA to meet with my gf, then the next day I fly to Cali to spend spring break with her there. After I come back next Thursday I'll give you a bunch.

Yeah. They're only open on Fri-Sunday. Even when they are open, there are NO DSM's at all. I'm usually the only one there when I used to go aside from another random blue DSM that I saw a long while back. Other then that, they are non-existent.

hey Chrispy, shoot me a pm i got a couple ideas to share with you...one of them being bringing the meet to the broward county area....I strongly believe many more dsm owners/enthusiasts will also second this idea. the current location is miami is perfectly ideal and all but than again many dsm owners who live here in broward and palm beach county simply get turned away from showing up because its just so far away for many of us. i personally think if the meet was in broward alot more dsms would eagerly show by the way broward is an equal distance for both miami and palm beach county dsmers!

what do you all guys think???

I by all means am not trying to convince/persuade this meet to get relocated from tropical park, but myself and many of my dsm friends were discussing this eariler this afternoon.

also, sorry i missed the last meet. was pouring rain here in fort lauderdale and driving with no a/c or windshield wipers wouldnt have been to safe nor fun. woulda been the only 1g out there! where have all the 1st gens gone, besides the junkyard...

I agree a midpoint between Dade & Broward would be good to attract DSMers from both north and south.

If access was allowed for us for a meet like this Dolphins Stadium in far north Dade or Outdoor World in southern Broward. The problem with private businesses like these though is them allowing us to meet without complaints and getting kicked out - not gonna happen. That leaves probably a public park.

Are there any large parks in southern Broward not far from an exit of either I-95 or the Turnpike that would be suitable?

there are two parks in the broward area that i know... theres ty park (which i proposed in an early thread) its on 95 and sheridan street heading west.... and theres brian piccolo off of sheridan and hiatus i believe the street is...i live near both... i can stop by and check the scene out

i live in broward and I know for a fact we probably have more then the dade area, near sawgrass mills or the pep boys on sunrise i see alot of eclipses, last night i saw one near broward mall lately everyday I see an eclipse in broward

jon me and u had a 1G meet out side your house . i do to think broward would be better for a meet a lot of guys from west palm dont like the long drive and i know for sure there r more dsms up this way. MARKHAM PARK theres alway some big honda meets there so i think sould give a try any one
