Miami DSM Meet Thread

I stepped out of the dsm game and joined the Honda krew... but i guess i can take the ol' dsm for a spin... Only gunna be rocking one headlight though... i dropped one off the shelf trying to reach it w/out ladder... i will show up with invisiblejohn...

I think it will be quite a bit more than the list above because there are at least 1/2 a dozen or more locals not on these forums who know about the meet.

I corrected the START time from my earlier post from 1:00PM to 12:00PM.

That is the time right Chris/everyone?

It's going to stay at 1pm. Only reason I say 12pm is so that people can show up early. If you can show up at 12pm, great, if not 1 is perfect. Coming later? Well, late is better then never I guess.

Also, yeah guys. We have a lot of locals that are showing up that don't post on DSMtuners. It should be a really huge meet with lots of DSMs. That being said, if your coming here looking for a race, don't bother coming. Honestly, I'd rather have a kick ass time, with a fun cruise rather then all of us getting tickets and sent home for disorderly conduct on public roads, ect. We won't be able to do this again if we do end up getting in trouble with the authorities.

Take the races to County Line were burn outs and races are all legal. Speaking of, we are trying to get an event there soloey for DSMs. A friend of mine spoke with the manager of the track and said it sounded exciting to have a day there just for DSMs, but we'd have to prove that we can have the turn out for it and wants proof. So our proof is this Sunday's meet. The more DSM's we have there, the more likely he's going to be conviced to give us a DSM day at County Line Dragway sometime in the summer.

Last thing to mention here is don't worry about how your car looks. Take it from someone who drove a eclipse that was pretty much Junk Yard material (Car was almost junked and crushed too!) rolling on old galant rims. Every color of the rainbow was on my car. I still went to DSM meets.

But yeah, this is a DSM meet. We're all here to have a good time and learn from one another. If everything goes well, this will probably be the best DSM meet Miami has ever had, with many more to come.

Im an ex-GS-T owner, but went back and picked up a GSX a couple days ago

My brother just got a GS-T, so hoping we can join you guys on the Miami meets with two more cars

Thanks for the welcome....I cant drive it yet, im still missing some intercooler pipes and BOV on mines, Im planing to get them next week or so....

and my brother is getting rid of the ricey bumpers the previews owners had on it, he has it parked in the back of the house and covered, he doesnt like driving the car with the current look,

We should have both cars ready by the next meet

there is a guy in the Tamparacing.com forum, that had a black one for sale a couple days ago, I will try to research the forum and see if he still has it available, and if I find it I will let you know
