I am not sure what turbo to go with eather a super 20g,or a mhi 20g. my goal is 500. What is the difference really between the Super/mhi 20g.What are the benifets from both. Help me decide please and any information would be great. If you have a different turbo that would help reach my goals. Lmk thanks

Haha I didn't see the thread sry about that. What turbo you think I should go with to reach my goal of 500. Set up is "head" 1mm over Manley valves, kiggly duel spring and retainers,3G lifters, and I'm still deciding on cams thinking about trying delta 272. What is you opinion on those I read good things on them. "Block" is .20, decked, honed, blueprinted crower rods, wesico piston, acl bearings, arp hardware BSD kit. Intake is jmf race mani. Not sure what exghaust mani to go with cause I haven't figured what turbo I should run.

Once upon a time I had the Hahn Super 20g kit and the kit including the turbo was garbage! Got rid of it and it became someone else's problem then he got rid of it. Listen to Jus and read the thread.

All you had to do was replace the turbine housing with a bolt on td05h housing, and all of the garbage Hahn adapters and such would disappear. The td05h 20g is a great street turbo, especially on e85.

I could have done that yes but that kit had cost me 1k + dollars at the time and I bought it when it first came out and I wanted it to work. Waste of money! My best alternative was to go with the Garrett T3/T4 hybrids which is what I should have done in the first place and eventually did back then. Plus it would have been cheaper to rebuild vs a mitsu turbo.

How so? I can have a Mitsu turbo completely disassembled in two minutes using three tools compared to about 15-20 mins for a Garrett....and that's assuming I don't run into any hold-down bolts with stripped heads.

A Garrett takes me more time to rebuild, and the parts kits with a performance thrust plate are more costly than Mitsu TD05/06 parts....so I actually charge more for Garrett rebuilds.
