Ok, so I had my car tuned by Lucas English in april. The car has been running 389hp perfect, all day. ECM link V3. Today I went out and did my first logs. Hit capture stream, and saved my files. Everything went well. I got home, got to the driveway and then went to the menu that changes your launch rpm. I changed it and hit save all. After I hit save all I glanced at the other menus and my target boost said 0 and most things looked to be zeroed out. Did I just override all my settings somehow by changing the RPM Limit and hitting save all? Because the car stared a small knocking sound after hitting save all. Not at idle only it i reved it a bit. I only drove it down my street and back to really see if i changed anything, because I wasn't sure if the sound was just one of those wierd vibrations you hear time to time. But sure enough it's not right. How much of an idiot do I feel like right now. Any ideas on what next? Did I just ruin my perfect motor by spinning a bearing somehow because of the tune getting reset or overwritten somehow?

I use link and if you dont change anything than you didnt change anything. If that makes sense. You would have only changed the rpms settings. I would go out and do a wot pull and log. If you have good AFR's, boost, timing and no knock than you are good.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up about Link not overwriting other info somehow when I hit "save all" after only changing RPM options. I am now feeling a lot better that I didn't mess up the tune somehow. I talked with DSMer541 on the phone and he thinks i'm ok also on the tune part.

In Link; I had my last log of the night on the screen when I went in to change the RPM setting. Link didn't change any numbers in other menus by itself from the log being there or something right?

I went to the menu for the Boost Target and it says 0 across the board. It should be 23.8psi when it was tuned, I would think that this menu is for setting your boost target, but if mine says 0 there then something happened there right?
Thanks for your help DSM community.

let me know if you want me to come over today and check over everything... if you made a log and saved it before you made those canges, you should be able to go to that log you saved, go to ECUconfig and look at what your setting were before you hit save all.
