My water temp sensor will drop 50 deg after a couple of minutes. Ill drive a few miles then it will drop from 186 to 132. The car will still run the same, but on tuners studio theirs a 50 deg drop. Would that be signs of a bad sensor or something else. The car doesnt run different. Just that its reading different. Its stock air and water temp sensor on the mega squirt 2 ver3 running 2.1.0q firmware.

I'm surprised its not running different. Did this just happen all the sudden? Could be a bad sensor but could also be a bad ground or something.

I'm believing bad sensor. But be sure you have the proper amount of coolant and checking with an "turkey baster" thermometer would verify.
