Right off the ad it says "- For perfect fitment and performance, getting our 3" test pipe is suggested." Looks like you need a test pipe or just bolt it to your cat if it bolts up correctly

i believe that is correct. i know the 1g needs a test pipe

Why not get the cxracing ? Punishment racing sells them for 125 shipped and they are a full 3" ! It doesn't neck down liek the megan piece does.
I have this downpipe on my car and i have no complaints of it.

And can i put this down pipe on mine cat back ..because i got 3" cat back but on the connection whit the high flow cat is 2.5" ?

Yes it will work perfectly fine. 3" downpipe and 3" cat-back together, sounds like a winning combo to me.

Oh i understood your catback was 3" all the way, then if it is 2.5" get the megan.
Having 3" all the way is nice though...

i already bought the megan. next mount i will pass the inspection and i will put the down pipe.. but i have to cut my cat back and rewedded because when i lowered my car the cat was welded incorrect and when i was going over bump stop i was hitting the cat.

And for stainless steal do i have to buy special welding wire ?

I just bought the Punishment Racing Downpipe, it is sawwweeet. Bolts right up, no issues and it already has cat delete, just bolts right to a catback. If your welding stainless steel you'll need special welding wire.

The Megan Racing Cat back uses an adapter that allows you to bolt the cat back to the 3" down pipe or your stock down pipe.

I've got a full Megan racing turbo back and the fitment is class A SHIT! Only 2 of the hangers lined up, I had to use the reducer to be able to bolt my down pipe to the cat back.
I've got to bring it to an exhaust shop and have them fix it.
