I've been looking into Megan coilovers. I wanted some opinions on them. And I also wanted to know if they work with FWD's.. I read somewhere that they don't, but the Slowboy Racing web site says they do. Anyone have recent opinions on these.. All the other posts are outdated..

hey bud,

we worked with Megan in the development on the 2g coilovers. I even have the very first completed set made on my 2g. They do fit without issue on the FWD. Nothing to worry about, just be sure you set them up correctly or have someone qualified do it.

So there's no problem with the rear on a FWD??

dude why not just go whit tein there the best they work miracles for me..

+1. I can't compare to any other coilovers but my brother has Tein Flex's on his 95 GST and they are AMAZING paired with RM racing sway bars. Now he just needs tires that can hang with his suspension ;)

I didn't see anything about the coilovers for sale on this web site..

Then you're blind.
I suggested VIP garage because there is something to be said for supporting a supporting vendor for our beloved www.dsmtuners.com

Oh and then theres that tiny detail about VIP Garage (Martin) being responsible in part for these coilovers even existing for our cars.

But go right on ahead, buy tein stuff that isn't half as good as anyone thinks it is (ask Jtoby) and buy your gear off ebay.

it's good to see that some people still believe in supporting those who support the community. LOL

we did work very close with Megan on the design of these kits. I actually have the first production 2g coilovers on my car and my buddy has the first 1g kit on his car. I was even the one that supplied the original parts for the 1g kit.
