So I've searched tuners and Google and it helped while installing all my boost related parts. I also had this car tuned on the dyno at beyond redlines at 23 psi. Since then about 2 weeks ago my car went from controlling perfectly to 23 psi with no creep at all and holding steady with about 4 counts of knock ( different issue). That was with an hks ez2 ebc. Then all of a sudden without touching a thing my boost one day wouldn't go past 10 psi (my wg springs minimum boost psi) as I have 10 lb spring I'm told. So I checked it it...had a hole in the ebc vac line. Problem solved, or so I though.

Now the boost would keep going to 25 ish psi. Causing about 15 counts of knock since it was tuned for 23. I was confused. So I took the selenoid part of ebc that all hoses hooked to and blew into the in and out ports. I could blow threw both with no resistance.I figured it was junk.

So then I hooked up a mbc. With boost source from ic pipe after turbo to side port of tial wg and vented top fitting per dsm forums. Now currently it creeps/goes up to 15 psi then before it hits powerband drops back down to 10 psi (assuming its on wg spring again). I have tried with mbc half open (half boost) and all way closed (for max boost) yielding same results boosting to 15 psi then dropping back down to 10.

Any ideas?

FYI profile has all updated parts and such. Car is fully built.

Yes. I checked for leaks. I have built this car with taking no cheap shortcuts either. Like I said it was working fine. I'm just not sure what to check with my mbc or old ebc to see if something is wrong or broke or what to try next.

I read both articles. What I don't get then is why does it boost up to 25 psi which is the max of wg spring really with my hks ebc. Then my mbc it just creeps to 15 then back to 10. Put ebc back in and can get 25 again. It's either 10. Or 25 depending which boost controller I use. So I don't think its wg. I'm not saying its not but 2 controllers get 2 different results. Neither which control boost. When I turn up or turn down the settings on ebc I get same boost. Even if I turn ebc off I still get the 25 psi.

Its called boost spike. If you have a 10 psi spring, you should only be able to potentially run double the psi. Which would be 20.

The WG is a hard part. Small chance of user error there. On the other hand, you are messing with a MBC & EBC. EBC requires wiring as well. Both are adjusted differently I believe. Plenty of user error capable.

Or obviously the EBC solenoid is no good.
