MBC closer to pressure source or wastegate?

I'm almost finished installing an Evo 3 16g (fully ported), and have a question about mounting the boost controller. I know that one must tap into the BOV vacume line for pressure source, but is it better to have the MBC closer to that vacume line or closer to the wastegate?
Searched, but most people seem to have just mounted it somewhere along that tract.
I'll be running 10-12 psi, hence the need to eliminate this particular source of creep.

Does it even matter which the MBC is closest to when using this pressure source?

Thanks.

This information is incorrect. You actually will get better results (less creep, quicker response) if you use a tap onto your turbo's compressor housing. It works better because you get less shit for it to have to travel through, and its a more pure, exact signal to use. I'll post a pic of what I mean. Basically all you need to do is get a 11/32 drill bit, a 1/8 NPT tap, and a 1/8 vacuum fitting 90degreee w/ a vacuum nipple on the other end. Thread it into your compressor cover and thats your pressure source for the MBC. As for closer, it really doesn't matter whitch is closer, as long as one isn't another 5' longer. Keep bother under 12-18" and youll be fine no mattter what. Heres a pic of how my MBC is hooked up, to my compressor cover and my WG actutor.

Here's my take:

I tee'd it with my BOV line. Why? Because it's a source directly from the intake manifold. The pressure from the compressor housing doesn't necessarily equate to the pressure inside the intake manifold. You have to account for IC core/piping pressure drop, intake temps, etc etc.

But that's just me. My boost response is responsive (14b), and no boost creep.
