yoshimitsuspeed: is it possible for you to make a poly one instead of fiberglass?? for durability and driveway issues? just a thought. i'd assume the Mazda one is poly, not fiberglass

I do know it still breaks pretty easily though and it is not as easy to fix, plut it's heavier and more expensive. I will probably stick with composites for now.

i haven't seen much problem with it (poly) breaking, unles the weather is cold or it is a major impact (which would be harmful anyways) but my experiances prove it to be a good choice for daily driving where driveways may be an issue. my fiberglass bumper cracks way too easy from driveways. as long as you prep & properly paint the poly, it seems to be OK.

PualPDX has a good point... has anyone tried with a 1Ga? we know the bumpers SHOULD be the same, but you never know with these cars

If I got a lip I think I could probably be popping out parts in about 2 weeks. I would also want about ten people who would fer sure want to buy one. It sounds like a lot of people here are interested so maybe it could work. Also if those ten people pitched $25 on the part it wouldn't strain anybodys pocket book too much.

yah big concern is if it fits a 1ga. I'm in the process right now of modifying 91-95 mr2 lips to fit 1ga's. My friend also has a shop for aftermarket body parts. I might try out different lips for different cars and let you guys know how it goes when i get it done.

Well then we can't get this together simply put.

I think it was good that yoshimitsuspeed was willing to make the unique front end, but if it can't be done it can't be done End of story. It would be nice to have a unique front end for a 13 year old car because no one is really making anything new or interesting.

I must have a thing for white cars with black tops. any way you can buy this lip from www.mazdastuff.com its the best thing for the 1g cars as in my mind those drift kits look so bad Won't let me upload a pic Its a 2000 convertable vett.

Thanks for the original information on if that Mazda lip will fit. I was looking to do something different on my 1992 Talon and now I have something to shoot for. Sounds like your having fun with the VETTE.........Enjoy!!

I have to very good friends who are in the carbon fiber business, I help them make molds of civic lips all the time. I was thinking of buying this and making carbon fiber lips. Who would be intrested in them. If no one is, I am buying one anyways and doing it.

oh yeah and most deff get this lip worked out!! it looks much better! sheit for 100 -150, i would buy one. since i want black wheels and cf hood, i could just paint the lip black myself... easy. but i wont have money for the lip till after xmas. peace.

Yoshi, get going on this side business man, there is a lot of potential in this if you start it up. You could pop out 10+/week. Think of it. A $250 investment could yield you a lot of income. Wish I knew how to work with fiberglass....
