Well I was driving home yesterday on 87 and I hate that road the roller coaster road on a high speed. It just snaped my springs and my struts and now its shot dead. So I just took em apart today and hopefully get a better suspention while i'm at it. Enjoy the pics oh btw does anybody have a suggestion on what springs and struts to get, but reasonable price. Need input guys i don't want to be left out. Thanks.

yea, i don't know what's up with this meet...people need to make up their minds about what's going on, there are enough people showing up, but its in 4 days and we've got nothing planned. i'd like this meet to still happen, but we need input from people...is anyone still going to show up?

Good question, I've thrown out ideas along with so many other people, but no one's agreeing (can't spell), last idea that was out was the pool hall, which would be pretty fun, so let's see if we can all agree to that. And if you're thinking, i suck at pool, i don't wanna go, then join the club....

theres a pool hall in San mateo. i went there a couple weeks ago. its pretty cool. about 20 tables and some video games and stuff. its called the Great Entertainer. but i know most of the ppl are in SJ and wont want to drive 20 miles.

there is a pool hall that eticiv mentioned in santa clara. Its really really really nice, which is good cause the great entertainer is poo compared to this one and its right next ot my house. Shit i wouldn't ev3en have to drive to santa clara billiards so I say we have it there . Anyway this will be the last meet I make it to in a dsm(hopes to god) so if you all know anyone that wants a gs-t with way to much money put into it for cheap(well what I consider cheap the add in the classifieds is just to have bargaining room I only need 9.5k) let me know so I can unload it I have a new project lined up.

It's up to you guys, considering most of you are from San Jose, I tried convincing you all to have it in the dublin area, but I haven't been to the pool halls out there, so I couldn't tell you if it was worth it to drive 30 minutes north for you all. I might bail because I'm afraid my car won't make it out that far, and it sounds as if all of you want to stay in san jose...but I'd say make it a night of pool, no one seems to disagree and if the one in santa clara is better, then there you go. Just need to set a time for everyone to meet up.

Hey guys/gals, this is one of the main difficulties in trying to plan an event around everyones' input - it's too tough to finalize. Everyone has different ideas and schedules. I wish we had some people with experience in event planning to help us get this stuff organized. I can write HTML all day, but I suck at planning and organizing events (unfortunately). I hope to get better at it though.

I usually just say "Hey everyone, we're doing a Mt. Hamilton run, anyone who wants to go can go." You can't make everyone happy, but at least it's finalized from the start and those who can make it know the plan. You wait for everyone to chime in on location, date, and plans, you'll be pulling your hair out.

And even though i will no longer be owning a dsm soon(please god have someone buy this thing from me) I will still plan the stinson meet becuase well that's my baby and we always have a good turnout/time at that meet so I will be seeing you in a couple months.....Luda by the way when is the mt. hamilton run?? Did we just have one? man I have been so lost recently with moving otu and what not, I really want to see what my new car can do through some serious twisties.

This is why i don't look at the bay area meet threads unless the word "stinson beach" is in the title. That's the only meet that ever really happens, count me out for this one unless something is decided fast.

meets never happen because its never finalized.. it should be finalized right as soon as the author of the thread posts it up.. at least when the title of the thread says "MAY MEET FOR THE BAY" if it wasnt finalized by then.. the title shouldnt be decieving like that.. but instead.. "Plans for meet for the Bay?"

its understood that a few people wont make it based on the time, date, location.. but hey tuff luck.. a meet that is for sure going to happen is better than 5+ pages with nothing happening..

personally i know this from exp. i use to own a 7th gen celica where we had great meets planned out.. a few big ones i helped out with.. any OGs remember the Logitech meet a few years ago..

also this is a car club.. obviously.. a bunch of us hardly know each other.. and our main interest is because we share the same vehicle liking.. therefore the agenda should just be about that.. our cars.. trying to plan something complicated or not car related like pool, karting etc wont motivate people who are stricktly here for cars.. sure with a handful of those of us who are cool each other we can do that.. but when you got first timers who dont know anybody.. they would feel left out.. yea we can all say.. "hey we're all cool peoples here youll fit right in.." easier said than done.. its like a kids first day in elementary school..

with that said we need to start just planning simple stuff.. just like meeting up and checking each others cars.. a simple start is a start.. i personally just want to check out other DSMs because thats why im here.. im not here to play pool and whatever.. maybe in the fuutre when there is actually a good comradiry (sp?) people would be more enthusiastic about it..

just my .02.. id plan it out but i simply dont want to..
