Was wondering what does it feel like when your maxxing out the injector D/C and the ecm is pulling timing?
When I get on the car it initially pulls hard, shift to 2nd and it initially pulls hard and then levels off.
It will do this in all gears. What it feels like is everytime I hit a higher hear I hit a 50 shot of nitrous for a split 2nd and then its gone.

I am guessing this is what the ecu pulling timing feels like.
Don't have anything to log with right now but will be getting ecm link soon.

Are you on stock injectors? IF you haven't done any tuning at all or hack the MAS then you should hit fuel cut before you actually run out of injector and you would know what that is when you hit it.

More likely you're just feeling power drop off in the upper rpms due to the stock rich tuning and timing falling off up top according to the map. If not then you could easily have some knock that is pulling timing.

What is your peak boost? Also is your profile up to date?

Yea there stock injectors for now. I have been trying to get the boost set to 16psi but I end up hitting 17psi.
Only time I hit fuel cut is when the tank is below 1/4 almost on E. I am pretty sure its pulling timing though. The power delivery is smooth but its just like I get these really short bursts of power after ever gear change. Car does pull decent all the way to 6500.

I think I am going to just drop the boost down to about 12lbs because I know I'm overrunning the stock injectors. Compression is 165 across the board tested when engine was warm also.

I also have a really bad heat soaking problem. The car has a front mount but in hot weather the power is just not there.

I don't know if the mafs been hacked honestly. I bought the car the way it is. It had an safc on it but they took it off when I bought the car.

Do you have a datalogger or wideband? Your probly knocking bad and the ecu is pulling timing. At that boost level I highly doubt your heatsoaking a front mount. I've personally run 23psi on a 16g in 95* heat on pump gas with no heatsoak issues on my small front mount. Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? The stock boost gauge doesn't accurately display true boost levels. You may also have some boost leaks. You should def do a boost leak test.

No datalogger right now. Between work and a kid it takes a lot of my time but I am working on getting a eprom ecu and link lite.
I am running a autometer boost gauge. Not sure if I have a boost leak because I hit 17psi around 3200 give or take and it will only drop to 15psi at redline.

I really don't drive the car very hard often. This was just something that has been bothering me.

I have some fic 650's that will be here this week.

I'm pretty sure I'm knocking though so for the time being I have set boost to 12psi until I get some cash saved back up for link.

Thank you for your input.
