I do apologize this question was placed under the incorrect spot so I just want to know are the 2g and 3 mass air sensor swapable, because I would like to do the full intake not just the adapter and fitler.

wow I'm really confused. are you asking if the 2g and 3g mass air sensors are swapable?

Why. do you want an intake system? Then buy a filter and a adapter. and then buy a intake pipe. Unless there is something different on an eclipse spyder. I mean every car uses a filter and a pipe right?

And I'm probable guessing that a 2g and 3g mass air sensor's are different.

Honestly your not going to see or feel much of a gain from a intake system on a non-turbo car anyways. but your money.

Yes this is what I am asking and yes the motor is a 2.4 4g64 in spyders that are non turbo and they do not make an intake for this car because of the way the mass air is made I was asking because the mass air is round not oval like it is on the 2g 4g64 so if you do not know about please don't respond I really don't need guess I need someone who has researched it thanks but no thanks for your unhelpful opinon.

Well here is more useless info.

You could probably have one made for really really cheap. If your trying to make the adapter or the pipe. any small welding shop could do it. or you could find a friend with a welder and do it yourself.

honestly its a pipe. cant be to hard to make. especially if it does not become oval and just stays round.

Ill remember not to try to help anymore. I mean I weld intercooler pipe and stuff but I wouldn't know a thing about an intake pipe.

I just needed to see what you were talking about and why the heck you would want to use a 3g maf.

anyways later douche bag

The reason being is NOT for more power it's because it has a ROUND end not an oval like the one I have and the adapter I have got it from cosmoracing.com I just want a chrome pipe with the oval it's a little hard to find a reducer to fit around the OVAL part of the maf and I never said YOUR info was useless I said it was not what I was looking for for the things I want done I guess it will be a trail and error thang.

there are a few places where you can find couplers that will couple a round pipe to a oval maf. I will talk to my friends at the dsm shop and im sure they will know where to get it. then you would just have to find a pipe that fit. Unfortunatley it would obviousley be much easier if you did not want it chrome. But since you do i would take a look at other pipes and see if they fit.
