Mas Wont Fit On New Air Intake

i need some help i just got my short air ram today and i put it on but the mas sensor wont fit on the pipe or the filter so i left it off the car is running fine matter of fact its running with a little more power but since i dont have the mas sensor on im getting the check engine light on is there a way to bypass the mass sensor since the car is running ok with out it at least right now? btw i got a 92 eclipse nonturbo.heres a pic of the new iar intake i got

the mas is there for a reason... your ecu needs to know how much air is going into the engine... go back to stock until you get an adaptor... or tell the vendor your bought it from its the wrong kit.

yea, i wouldnt drive it with out the MAS on there. Your probably running really lean if you noticed a power increase. NOT GOOD. Leave the stock one on there until you get it fixed. Good luck.
