Hard intake pipe wont fit

HAve you set it up for yourself rather than the shop? Its not that difficult to do, also pictures would help so we can see the problem, ebay somethings work and somethings dont, ive seen pipes on the vendor sites, 60 bucks wow.

Should work fine just take the stock stuff out, connect the pipe to the turbo with a coupler, then connect the maft to the pipe with a coupler then put the adapter piece on the maft and attach the filter with a couple. Hook up your vac lines and the bov hose and your good. I wouldn't pay a shop to do this for you, you could do it yourself in 20mins with minimal tools. Just my opinion though.

i know some of those couplers are VERY tight, i always have trouble with the one between the maf and intake itself.

I used to have that intake when I still had a t25 and the end of the intake was pretty much the same size as the t25 inlet. I would bet that the outlet of that intake is smaller than the inlet of a 14b/16g.

When I had mine I took a die grinder to it and ported the crap out of it as it was way thicker than it needed to be and I figured more air going through would be better.

For sure just install it yourself and you might have to do something like put the filter in where it goes and then put the intake in and connect the filter to it as you drop it in. If you put the filter and mass on the intake outside of the engine bay and then try to install it all together it wont fit.

Yea I forgot to meantion that part in my 2g I always put the filter on the maft and set it in place the put the intake on the turbo and slide the maft onto it. Like he said the coupler for the maft is very very tight.

You may have the issue of it fitting differently due to engine bay differences. The intake you bought is for a 2g. Both 1g and 2g pipes have different bends from what I've read.

I would try yourself and see how it fits. If anything, take a picture for us to look at and get some more insight to the potential issue that is happening.
