I got the Zeitronix wideband kit with LCD screen. It has an optional input to read boost. The thing is you have to buy their MAP sensor. If anyone knows what the voltage outputs are to the symbol than it would be possible to use a cheaper sensor. Anyone with any info on this please respond.

Most sensors are in the 0-5v range. Go to www.digikey.com Order the MPX4250AP-ND sensor, will read up to 2.5 BAR of pressure, It cost $18 each. I recommend ordering two of them. They're a sensetive component to engine heat, so I also recommend going to Radio Shack and getting one of those small boxes to mount it to.

Thanx for the help bro. So I was thinking about how I could determine the boost it reads at particular voltages. If I used a multimeter and found out specific voltages for specific levels of pressure and vacuum than how do I go about altering the signal coming from the generic MAP sensor into my Zeitronix control unit? I know that voltage=current x resistance so would I just wire in the appropriate sized resistor?
