The car will shift into first okay but letting off the clutch the engine seems to stutter and wants to jump out the engine bay I've had it for about 6 months and drove fine till now. Any other gear runs fine. All spark plugs and wires were replaced not that long ago so I know it's not a miss fire. I don't know what to do and I'm a delivery driver. I need my car. the car is a 2g 98 rs.

Torque multipication is most noticable in first and reverse. Have someone watch the engine while you put the car in first and reverse with the parking brake on and slowly let out the clutch without letting it stall. Motor mounts are a pretty common thing to go out and when they do the motor really moves around.

+1 on checking the motor mounts.
Try to wiggle/pry the engine back and forth while the engine is off. Maybe put it in gear and rock it back and forth to see if you have any movement.

And just look for how much the motor moves? What about the engine shuttering like a noob drive manual for the first time?
Thanks for the fast reply

If your car is mostly stock, I would go with OE replacement mounts. It's not worth the vibration and noise on a N/T car.

Alright well driving it to a parts store it didn't do it as much or as bad. It really started after doing non stop deliverys for 12 hours. But I know I need new motor mounts anyway. Anyone know where to get cheap oem parts easpecially the right side motor mount they 93 bucks for it.

the vibration isnt as bad as people make it seem. just order a set of the poly mounts off ebay for like 60 bucks for all of them.

I read some things on a search i did and people say they are not bad like you said, i found these on ebay but there inserts i dont know how effective they will be but it says for torn and sagging mounts. Im on a very small budget right now. i just need to know if this will work for me.
