In my 98 gst spyder 1st gear is being a pain in the ass.
I can get it into 1st but it doesn't want to go in easily.. What I have learned to do is just put it into first and just let the clutch out with no real gas and if it pops out just stick in back in, I do this a couple times until it goes in. This way I don't grind any gears.
Also if i'm driving and downshifting and say I'm in 2nd and I'm revving kinda high I can usally get it into 1st every time.
All the other gears are perfect.
Could this be fixed by changed tranny fluid or do I need a synchro or something?!
Thanks,
rev
