Im wondering if there are any adjustments to the manual transmissions in the 2g's. The reason for asking is because my first gear pops out of gear when i take off when i shift from neutral into first. However when i shift into first gear while the car is rolling 5+mph it makes a whine noise (louder with higher speeds). I dont actually downshift into the gear i just put it in gear as im rolling to a stop sign and keep my foot on the clutch until im ready to go. Dont worry guys i dont hold the clutch in for more then 5 secs, if i have to wait longer like stop lights i just shift to neutral and take off in second. Lately 2nd will occasionally pop out just like first but i can tell when its going to happen because it doesnt feel like its in gear all the way. My clutch is to the floor so im almost 100% sure its fully disengaged from what ive observed. I;m ready to rebuild the trans but i want to first check if a simple adjustment will fix my problem.

Also do you guys think a stage 3 ACT clutch would be too harsh for a daily street car that is mostly stock?
