making idle higher

Right now I have a keydiver stage 3 chip set for a 750 rpm idle. I want to set it at 1000rpm. Is there a way to adjust it without having the chip reprogramed?

No. The BISS has to be set to match the programmed idle speed or you loose the normal ISC functions. The ECU will step the ISC in trying to lower the idle until you close off the ISC bypass and the ECU can no longer correct. At that point you have lost the ECU's ability to control the engine speed and potentially created surging problems when it's cold.

With a 1K idle you also want the decel cutoff limits raised so you don't idle surge during coasting.

Yes, just like the idle speed has to be changed in the chip.

mine is set for 1k. everything is fine when it is idling that high. Sometimes mine drops to like 700 though. I can't seem to fix it maybe one of my sensors are intermitantly failing.
