Turn on AC Idle goes higher.

Well first of all i have my air condition disconnected. But when i turn up the ac the idle will go up from 900-1k to like 1.3k? Is this normal i guess its nothing to worry about just wondering.

my air conditioning is functional and when i turn it on the idle RPM's do go up. I think it's normal

If you have a logger, watch your ISC value when you turn on the A/C.

The ECU bumps up input to the ISC motor in order to compensate for the parasitic drag the A/C induces. If it didn't, your car would idle like crap and/or stall when the A/C was on.
