edmonton,
At anytime after the car is started, if I turn my A/C on and my fan on MY Rad fan and A/C fan will always turn on. They stay on for aslong as the A/C is on, If I turn the A/C off they will both turn off.

The Rad fan still fuctions normally kicking in when it is supposed to.

so are they both supposed to be on like that, can you have A/C on without a Fan going?, if it actually is a glitch it is an effective way of cooling the engine on command.
thx

It's probably a bad solenoid somewhere in the mix, but I wouldn't complain about it, at least you know you fans work and you can even get both going if you need to. I replaced my radiator and now when I start up the car the regular fan runs all the time and the A/C fan works normally. It's nice on those hot summer days, but it takes forever to warm up in the winter.

Sorry that is incorrect. They should both come on when the A/C is on. Thats the way they are supposed to work. It keeps the car cooler under the load that the compressor puts on it, plus it pulls heat off the condenser so the A/C blows cold. You car is fine and working in a normal fashion.
