I have a 2g MAF, K&N filter, and a dejon knock off pipe that I am trying to get on my 1g but it's to long. So I am wondering what people have done, did they cut the dejon intake pipe to shorten it? Take the plate and filter off their 1g and make it work for the 2g plate? I'm not interested in buying a dejon 2g maf 1g pipe for over $100 so what is everyones suggestions here?

My front mount is almost in, I just need a few 2.5'' pipes and a straight pipe with a greedy flange on it which I don't have to connect up to my TB elbow.

Anyways, can't I take the the 1g back plate for the filter and the 1g filter and connect it up to my K&N 2g maf plate? I have the knock off dejon with recurculation port but it's to big with the 2g K&N filter.

Just to fallow up on this, It looks like it's more work then it's worth modifying the 1g filter to work. What is a smaller filter that I can get that will work with the 2g maft and intake pipe?

I got a 2g MAF with 2g intake pipe on my car. It's a tight ass fit and I don't like it one bit, but it DOES just bearly fit. Im planning on cutting the intake pipe down some since if anything I want to use a larger filter, not smaller.
