General 2G MAF Translator work on 1G?

Im thinking it would, were just making sure. Hardwiring wouldnt be a big deal, it would be nice to just plug and play.

Its funny I looked at the car the other day..im pretty sure it has the plug and play adapter...but its not 100 percent confirmed...Nick go look!

Edit : Unhook the adapter and get yourself the 1g translator straight up.

Yes, it will work fine. They are the same unit, just a different plug on the end. If your chip is setup for a 2G MAS, just set the switches to emulate a 2G MAS, BASE=2, AUX=4 I believe for 450cc + 2G MAS emulation.

Ok...chip as in eprom chip right? Car dosent have a chip. I dont mind hardwiring if need be it wouldnt be an issue. Just want to know if a 2g plug and play setup would work pluged into the 1g to 2g adapter, and if not cant it just be hardwired since its the same unit.

I search the forums, and didnt find one thing on this. Im sure I could find hardwire info I hope .

Google helps for searching dsmtuners, since dsmtuners search engine sucks ass! Seems that if this guy used a 1g maft plug and play on his 2g making basically the reverse harness of what we have, there should be no reason it wont work.
