edmonton,
I preformed this on my 1G, I imagine this works the same on a 2G.
1. Remove rear trim to gain access to your lightbulbs.
2.Now if you put your taillihgts in backwards they will be twice as bright, The reason for this is when you step on your brake they get brighter, putting them in backwards tricks your taillights into thinking your stepping on the brakes. The downfall of this is that now you only have your spoiler light to rely on to let other motorists know that your braking.
3. If you still want to do this you will have to grinds off the little nobs on the lightbulbs, doso with a file, you have todo this so that the bulbs can be put in backwards and pushed all the way down.
4. Now you no longer have the little nobs to hold the lights down, I suggest wrap electrical tape around the base of the light 1 time so that it fits in the hole more snug.
