Make your own studs for a cheapy 02 housing

I recently bought a cheap 02 housing w/ dump for my car. The housing did not come w/ any bolts, nuts, studs or anything to connect it to my downpipe like the stock housing does. I also started getting sick and tired of having to use a socket and wrench to remove my down pipe, So heres what I did. I bought some bolts, washers, and nuts, and decided to weld them on to the 02 housing to make some studs. This will make removal of the downpipe easier in the future. I used M10 x 2in long bolts for my setup but you can literally use whatever bolts you want that will fit.

Step 1, pic 1: Setup your bolts in a vice if you can, and position them where you want, making sure your going to have enough room for the gasket and the downpipe to fit properly.

Step 2, pic 2: Get on your protecive gear like gloves, long sleeved shirt, and welding mask, and beging welding.

Step 3, pic 3: Continue welding

Step 4, pic 4: visually inspect your welding job, and make any corrections if needed.

Step 5, pic 5: Look at your welds and make sure they are going to hold up.

Step 6, pic 6. Place the 02 housing on your downpipe, and make sure it's all going to fit up nice and tidey. Thread on the nuts now to make sure those will work.

Bam, your done. This really is nice now, it saves me at least 5 minutes now when I remove or install my downpipe.
