Magnus Intake Mani Question

just installed my Magnus intake mani and it was a pain in the ass.. however on the stock intake mani the map sensor screw into the manifold.. however there is nowhere for it on the new magnus... took the car out for a test drive and feels like the car is running no timming/going into safe mode....?? idk what to do.. please help? could that map sensor ont he intake mani be the problem?

The Stock MAP sensor is used when the car goes into safe mode...There is no pervisions for it on the Magnus. You can run without it.

I am unaware but will it throw a Check Engine Light?

We have mass air flow systems not speed-density so the MAP sensor is not used for fuel calculations. It's used on Mitsu's and Hyundai that use Mitsu fuel systems to monitor the egr system. It is part of the emissions system so it should cause the check engine light to come on with stock computer, but it shouldn't cause driveability problems.

i have the switch connected but thats it... the car idles fine but it has no power what so ever when i go to drive it and a check engine light comes on.. however the dsmlink took care of that... slowboy racing said that i need to attach a vaccum to it and my car should work propperly....
