Magnacore Question

Are Magnacore wires REALLY that necessary, i have heard from plenty of ppl that NGK's will be just fine, so i don't know if i should get ngk's or the magnacores? I wish they would make the NGK's in red!

you'll be fine with the NGK's if you're wanting to upgrade. if you are concerned about the colour, you can get the taylor wires. they come in red, black or blue and are a spiro-core wire.
where the magnacores will run you around $80, the taylors can be had for about $60.

i've got a set of magnacore 8.5mm and i like them. the only issue i have with them is that they don't seal like the stock wires do which could cause problems with moisture getting down into the spark plug well and cause them to arc.

I have magnecores and I really like them. I believe NGK's are comparable to them and much cheaper. I heard MSD's are good too.

The difference in aftermarket performance wires will be very minimal if any, so no you don't need Magnacore. If you really want red, I use the Accell Thunder sports, they seem to work fine but are slightly longer then the stockers so they bunch abit (not to much see gallery motor pic), I believe the MSD wires are also red and have heard good things about them.

I have MSD's no problems.
