Like Mike said, the software is different. Not only that, but the airflow curves for the 2 MAF's are quite different. The 2g MAF is not just a copy of the 1g MAF but 20% less, it has a totally different shaped output curve.

I see. However, I am really making some progress which is kind of cool. turbiousnoxide recommended that I do as Mike instructed and upgraded to the 2g version 1.3, but before doing that, I wanted to be sure that there were no other differences in the board itself, such as resistors and stuff. Thanks for the help guys. The logger got here today, so ill see what that does. I am a lil short on cash right now too, so until I get time to upgrade, im gonna make the best of what I have.

ok I have a maft for the 2g and I am wondering which blue resistor your talking about. if I take a picture of it and post it can you circle in photoshop and let me know whitch one it is?

just so others know, some of the models have a brown resistor in the same place, cut that one insted it doesne matter which end.
