MAFT question

This might be a dumb question, But i picked up the maft set up for 80$ brand new and i was planing on putting it in, here the thing im gonna be going to get the car tuned by the end of this month or some time next month is it alright to put the maft setup in but keep it all zeroed out until i get it tuned?

Well, you won't want to keep it zero'd out. Read through the manual, it's on their website Here

You'll have to set the base setting for your injectors, sounds easy, but my "awesome" MAFT is set for about 500cc injectors, and I run 650's, just to get level fuel trims. So don't trust the chart they give you. The best way to get a base set up is to log your fuel trims and set accordingly.

It should be safe enough to drive around, but I wouldn't go WOT until you get it tuned. Or, you could figure out how to tune it yourself

PS MAFT isn't the greatest tuning tool, but for $80 you can't really argue.

Question!, So i get my car back this weekend and i plan of trying to street tune the car with the maft and safc, im gonna be logging with the new MHIScan and what should i look at? and what should my fuel trims be around? I have never tuned before and i want to learn.

I am in the same page the i have a maft v2.0 and a evoscan datalogger, what should my fuel trims be around?
