Well, I need a MAFT, but idk which one I should buy, when i bought the car, there already was a 2gmaf in. So im guessing he spliced the wires and whatnot, now my question is, will a 2g MAFT work with a splice 2g plug from 1g wires?

the reason i ask this is because i dont know if there are any required wires that were left out from the conversion from 1gmaf to 2gmaf. or is there a way to go back to 1gmaf plug from 2gmaf?

You can go back. You just need a different connector.

I don't see a reason why the 2G MAFT wouldn't work for you, though, with your current connector.

alright, anyone positive that i can use a 2g maft with a 2g converted plug? i dont wanna buy a 2g and get stuck with it because it needed one wire that wasnt there or vice versa.
