Ok, I have searched over 100 threads and cannot solve this issue. I have been at this since 10am and I'm just gonna ask for help now so no BS pls.

If anyone can help me get this MAFT working properly on my car I would appreciate it. I have a pocket logger with MMCD and have been trying to tune per instructions Here! My fuel trims rarely move and the only one that does is the FTO2. As soon as it hits about 3500 rpm it starts breaking up and running like poop until about 5k then clears up and runs great every single time. If someone wouldn't mind spending some time helping me I would be forever greatful

Update: My MAF Signal keeps dropping to 0 when it starts running like shit, and the more throttle I give it the worse it is, anything over 30% throttle and it will do it, if I stay below that threshold it will go all the way to redline. Anybody have an idea?

To me, I have seen this happen on other cars and it comes out to be a bad MAF.

Was wondering if you have looked into a MAF translator cause I know that the translator helps with tuning but that's all I know. I don't have one myself but did some research on em to find out that my app doesn't Ieed it.

As for the MAF itself, they are very easy to break if you have the wrong filter, or if you have touched the sensor yourself. I think you have a dead spot in it. Hope that helps

hmm, I didn't know that was possible. I haven't touched the sensor before and I did not have a filter on it while I was testing it. I tested it on a 97 Jimmy and it worked fine, but I guess its still possible.

I'll try another MAF, but any other theories while I'm at it?

Are you recirculating your blow off valve back into the intake pipe? I've seen people people venting the BOV to the atmosphere and not seal up the BOV opening on the intake cause some very wacky MAF readings. If the BOV is still hooked up to the intake pipe then I would say that the MAF is probly shot.
