after installing my full exhaust system the check engine light came on (for obvious resons) but then i put the GM MAF and MAFT in the car, tuned it and made sure it wasnt running lean, which it wasnt. but within the past few days, my car has been running like crap, missing real bad and bogging down. so i decided to have the cel checked. before that i diagnosed that something was wrong with the knock sensor because i installed a knock led and noticed it stayed on and also noticed that the stock boost gauge (here i should mention that i am running a MBC and have a vacuum line looped to close the BCS) is reading the lowest possible vacuum and doesnt change unless the car is first started, then it goes from 0 vacuum to extreme negative. as i said i had the cel checked and the knock sensor did show up (my guess is that it is bad?) but what has me concerned and brings me back to the purpose of this topic is that the scanner also read a problem with the IAT, MAF, and MAP. now the map was replaced a couple of months ago with a genuine mitsu part, and the translator is supposed to give a consant 80 degree IAT reading. why is it saying the IAT is bad and WHY is it saying the MAF is bad? i wouldnt think the translator wouldnt cause cel to go off?

a the GM MAF? i remember reading in the directions that it wasnt a "perfect fit" but i guess i took that for granted...is there a good way to test to see if they are connected properly, maybe with a multimeter or something?

Maybe you have an incompatible MAF? Or did the car run fine for a while?

Also, the car will run VERY crappy if your knock sensor is constantly reading knock. The car will pull timing like a MOFO all the time. This could be the cause of your issues, the the codes that you pulled may be old codes that are still stored. Fix your knock sensor and clear all the codes and see what happens. After that, if the codes come back/car still runs crappy, then you know youve got other problems.
