I have 1995 Galant with 92K miles. It's a survivor in Great condition. It's been diagnosed as needing a MAF sensor. I tried buying one on eBay from a seller with 99.9% positive feedback. That one made the car run worse. I tried getting a Delphi MAF sensor. Same result. I can't find a new OEM one anywhere. Are the remanufactured ones any good? Any input would be great. BTW, car has a new AC Delco coolant temp sensor, new distributor cap and rotor. New wires and plugs. New throttle position sensor, OEM.

Sorry, I had a response typed out to this, but then I realized something so I took it down to fix :D

For 1995 Galants, there are MAP (manifold absolute pressure) and MAF (mass air flow) sensors available. :idontknow:

How was the diagnosis determined? By codes? What were the issues you were having to start with? The more info you can provide, the better the chance of helping. You mentioned distributor cap… this is the 2.4L SOHC engine right?

Two new bad ones in a row... Did the new ones cause a check engine light? If there is a CEL at all, I'd try and determine the code(s) myself.

They are discontinued from OEM. But, RockAuto has them (not OEM though) (you have to look under the Exhaust & Emission category). I’ve never had issues with remanned stuff, but I know others on here. have. Rock Auto - Click meeee
