Machined GM MAF sensor

Hey Guys.. Lately Ive been machining GM maf sensors to help eliminate boost leaks at this point in the intercooler system.

Basically what I have done is machine the "notch" out of the sensor and gave the clamping area more width and depth. This provides a better sealing surface and clamping area to prevent leaks.

That's usually where I blow a coupler off. The coupler had to be notched to fit properly, so the t-bolt clamp doesn't get to put force on it correctly and eventually it blows off. I plan to eliminate it all together with a MAP though.

yeah i hear you man. i cant tell you how many couplers ive blown off at this point. With this it doesnt leak or blow off anymore.

I turned it on a lathe.

Yep im getting rid of mine to and getting map real soon clean up the bay even more.
